SASA's 105th Annual Exhibition opened on the 26th of September 2011, with 265 works of art on display; a record number for us!  Conrad Theys, one of our esteemed patrons, gave the opening address and encouraged all artists who had submitted work to continue working. He made the point that those works which did not make it on to the exhibition were not rejected; rather, they were not selected.  He was impressed with the standard of the work.  At the opening three new Fellows of SASA, Solly Gutman, Penny Steynor and Laura Wenman were presented with their certificates and formally congratulated. 37 works were sold.
